Slow Cooker Pork Tacos

Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork is great for Taco Tuesday or any day of the week! This recipe makes a delicious, tender pulled pork.

Easy Slow Cooker Pork Tacos

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb pork shoulder
  • 2 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 ½ teaspoons cumin
  • 1 ½ teaspoons chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Mix all spices together in a small bowl.
  • Cut up pork shoulder into quarters and place in crockpot.
  • Sprinkle seasoning on all sides of pork chunks.
  • Add about 2 cup of water to have about 1 inch of liquid around the pork.
  • Cook on LOW for 7-8 hours of 4 hours on HIGH.
  • Test doneness by how easy it is to shred. The pork should “fall apart” easily if you pull on it with a fork or tongs. If it doesn’t shred easily, continue to cook until it does.
