Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium size bowl.
Cut butter and peanut butter into flour mixer with a pastry cutter until butter pieces are the size of a pea.
Stir chocolate chips into flour and butter mixture.
Mix in milk, sourdough discard, and vanilla.
Turn onto floured surface and continue to fold in the remaining flour until everything is combined.
Divide in half and shape into two circles ½ inch thick. Cut each circle into 8 slices.
Place scones on a parchment lined or silpat baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
It's tempting to just eat them right out of the over, but let cool slightly so you don't burn yourself!
